We’re so excited that you're interested in RVCC GROUPS! We believe that following Jesus, and growing in that journey, happens best doing life alongside others. Finding a group for this next season of life is a great way to learn, make friends, and grow.

On this page you will find 14 RVCC Groups that will be meeting this summer. You are invited to pick a group and jump in for eight weeks (unless otherwise noted). Joining a group is not a lifetime commitment, so at the end of those eight weeks, you may decide to stay with that group or give another group a try during the next session this fall.

How Does This Work?

  1. Look through the RVCC Groups page
  2. Pick the group you’d like to join
  3. Click the "I'm Ready to Join a Group!" button and tell us the number of the group you'd like to join
  4. The group leader will be in touch with more information
  5. Meet with your group regularly during this season
  6. Watch God work in your life

LEARN TO PRAY

GROUP #2

Mondays, 7:00-8:00pm
Starting July 11
In Person at RVCC Parkland
Led by Dale & Elizabeth Helt

You wonder, “Is this all there is to knowing the Creator of one hundred billion galaxies?" You read the book of Acts and ask, "Why isn't it like that anymore?" Your world falls apart and you desperately need a miracle. And so, finally, you turn to God, wondering whether you're more than half serious, and say, "Lord, teach me to pray" and He replies, "I thought you'd never ask!" This 8-week book/video study is for anyone who wants to grow in their prayer life. No prior experience needed, just openness to learn. Pete Greig's motto about prayer is "Keep it simple, keep it real, keep it up."
Please buy a copy of the book How to Pray: A Simple Guide for Normal People by Pete Greig from christianbooks.com or Amazon.

For those who want to play 6 on 6 indoor volleyball in a serious way, we will meet periodically throughout the summer depending on the group’s availability. While high levels of athleticism, experience, and ability are not required to join us, this is not everybody-on-the-court, anything-goes volleyball. We use rotations, strategies, rules, and mechanics that allow for learning, growth, and competitive games. Our focus is on fun, while building relationships, playing well, and working up a sweat. Sign up if you would like information on our upcoming meeting dates.
