Upcoming Events

Saturday, December 11
at RVCC Parkland
Winterfest is a Parkland-Spanaway community event sponsored by PLU, Franklin Pierce School District, Rainier View Christian Church, and a number of South Pierce County businesses and organizations, providing gifts for children in the Franklin Pierce School district, who otherwise would go without.

Rainier View is involved in this event in various ways:
  • With our generosity through the Giving Tree. On November 21 and 28 we will be able to shop directly from the wish lists of children chosen by their schools to be invited to Winterfest. These gifts are then distributed to families at Winterfest on Saturday, December 11.
  • Through wrapping gifts to prepare for Winterfest. On December 4, volunteers will gather at RVCC Parkland to wrap the gifts that have been purchased.
  • By hosting and volunteering at the Winterfest event. On December 11, volunteers will gather at RVCC Parkland to create a fun Christmas experience for the families selected by the schools to participate.

If you're a mom with littles (birth through early elementary) and you want to get out of the house, this is for you! Though we'll still be wearing masks, the kids can run off some energy while we drink coffee, visit, and laugh together. Toys will be sanitized and precautions taken. Email info@rainierview.org if you have questions.

Tuesdays, 10:00am at RVCC Parkland
RVCC's Joygivers are our 55+ community that began regathering in October. All distancing and health guidelines, including masks, will be observed, but it's wonderful to be together again. Whether you've been part of this group for years or you're ready to find a community after quarantine, we'd love to have you join us for Bible study and fellowship. Call the church office at 253-531-0757 or email info@rainierview.org for more information.
