Adult Singles' Ministry

Considering that heaven is the eternal home of the believer, it is surprising how little we seem to know about it, and how much we think we know that is not actually in the Bible. Also, everyone who has grieved the loss of a Christian loved one has probably wondered where that person is right now—before Jesus comes back and establishes his eternal kingdom on earth. Beginning with the thought-provoking article from Christianity Today, “Finding Heaven,” this study will help explore Scripture’s tantalizing insights into our eternal home.

The Singles Adults Ministry at Rainier View Christian Church is a great place to meet new friends who are single too.

• To enhance the sense of community and fellowship among the single adults of Rainier View Christian Church.
• To share that fellowship with other single adults throughout the community, fostering relationships with each other and enhancing our relationship with God.
• To glorify God by participating in community service projects.

The Singles’ Ministry expands on the concept of a small group or Home Fellowship Groups (HFG). It fulfills the basic purpose of an HFG, which is to study and apply God’s Word, to share and meet the needs of the group and fellowship with each other.

The group also provides a Christian fellowship environment for sharing fun activities and community service projects with other adult singles in a manner that demonstrates reverence to God and respect for each other.
